Week 2 deepens what Week 1 seeded. The schedule runs without explanation now. The launches go quicker. The focus shifts to who's on this journey with me? — and how do we help each other? Conflict navigation gets named. Leadership Roles open for sign-up. The studio starts to feel like a tribe.
Each learner makes their own Trading Card — strengths, what they're learning, what they need from the tribe.
// day 02 · tuesdayConflict navigation framework — both for our own conflicts and for helping Sparks with theirs.
// day 03 · wednesdayFirst learner-led Town Hall. Rules of Engagement get refined. Leadership Roles open.
// day 04 · thursdayFirst full day with essential roles active. School-Wide Town Hall #2.
// day 05 · fridayICEE #2, Share Chair, Quest deep dive on "what kind of tribe are we becoming?"
D2 walks through the Spark conflict-navigation tool — not because Sparks need it explained to them, but because D2 learners will be the ones helping in Week 3. Knowing the tool is preparation for leading.
Where: Day 2 Morning Launch + Quest
The full board of essential + bonus roles goes up. Sign-up process explained. By Friday, every learner holds at least one role.
Where: Day 3 (Town Hall) + Day 4 (in practice)
The 3–5 rules drafted in Week 1 get refined and locked at Town Hall #2. They become posted, referenced, and held.
Where: Day 3 Town Hall
Every learner has a complete PWG by Friday — all blocks filled in. The PWG is now a real document, referenced when work goes off-track.
Where: Threaded through the week
Hoarding leadership roles. Returners will want all the essential roles. Don't let them. New learners need to hold something meaningful in Week 2 or they won't believe they belong.
The "first conflict" panic. A real conflict will surface this week. This is not a failure — this is the moment. Use it to walk the studio through Work It Out in real time. Don't suppress it.
Rules of Engagement getting too long. Hold the 3–5 limit. If the studio wants more, that's what the Studio Manual is for.
