The Lip Dub song is official. Quest is spent listening as a studio — full song, multiple times — and starting to map lyrics to learners and sections. School-Wide Town Hall #4 happens at 11:20.

Quest — Lip Dub Lyric Listening + Mapping begins

This is the day the song goes from "chosen" to "ours."

  • (10 min) Full listen #1: studio listens together with lyrics on the projector. No talking. Just hear it.
  • (5 min) Reactions: what did you notice? What sections jumped out?
  • (15 min) Section identification: together, label the song's natural sections (intro / verse 1 / chorus / verse 2 / bridge / outro). Mark on the lyric sheet.
  • (15 min) Mapping kickoff: who sings what? Anyone with a specific section they want? Initial sticky-note assignments on the planning poster.
  • (15 min) Full listen #2: with the section labels in mind. People imagining themselves in their proposed parts.
